About the Role

 Join a large-scale, high-impact Epic migration initiative supporting hundreds of clinics across a leading healthcare organization. This role places you at the core of healthcare interoperability, where you will design, build, and optimize critical integrations that directly impact patient care and operational efficiency.


You will work in a complex, fast-paced environment with significant ownership over interface development, troubleshooting, and system integration—particularly during a major transition to InterSystems Health Connect.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with clinical, operational, and technical teams to support Epic migration efforts
  • Design, develop, test, and maintain interfaces using InterSystems Health Connect (IHC)
  • Build and support HL7 integrations to ensure seamless data exchange between systems
  • Troubleshoot and resolve interface issues to ensure data accuracy, reliability, and performance
  • Translate business and integration requirements into scalable technical solutions
  • Support ongoing system optimization during and after migration phases

Must Have

  • Epic Bridges Certification (Required – Non-negotiable)
  • Experience with InterSystems Health Connect (IHC), IHCC, or Rhapsody
  • Strong hands-on experience with HL7 messaging (ADT, ORM, ORU, SIU, etc.)
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • InterSystems Health Connect certification
  • Experience supporting large-scale healthcare data migrations
  • Experience working in transition or transformation environments
  • Familiarity with Epic interface lifecycle and integration framework

Details

  • Client: Novant Health
  • Employment Type: Contract (6+ Months, potential extension)
  • Pay Rate: Up to $50/hr (W2)
  • Location: 100% Remote (Must reside and work in the United States)
  • Work Hours: EST (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
